Samantha How

FOUNDER & CEO

Sam began her career in talent management in 2001, working with some of the country’s leading talent agencies, before co-founding Simon & How in 2007. As well as overseeing and directing the continued growth and development of the company, Sam is proud to represent an exclusive list of film, TV and stage actors and is especially passionate about discovering, nurturing and establishing the careers of raw and diverse talent.

Simon Penn

FOUNDER & COO

Simon has over 20 years experience in running a successful agency. Simon co-founded Simon & How with the ethos of investing in people, which has meant that the agency growth has been rapid and completely organic.

Emily Slack

AGENT

Emily started professional life as a Theatre Producer and has produced work at venues including the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Park Theatre, Trafalgar Studios, Theatre Royal Bath and the Arcola Theatre. She has also enjoyed freelancing for the BBC. Ultimately, her passion for championing acting talent saw her turn to artist management and for the last two years she has been thrilled to develop and nurture the careers of top, upcoming actors as an Agent.

Sam Tooby

AGENT

As well as a select list of acting clients, Sam is also the Creatives Agent at Simon & How, representing directors, writers, designers, puppet designers, voice coaches and lighting designers for stage and screen. Her career of over ten years in theatre, TV and film has seen Sam work in casting, production and stage management and she enjoys a wealth of friendships, contacts and relationships at all levels of the industry, including The National Theatre, The Royal Court, RSC, Soho Theatre, BBC, ITV, Sky Arts and many more. Sam works very closely with all of her clients to develop a bespoke approach to their career development, ensuring that both parties are doing as much as they can to fulfil their potential.

Tabitha Porter

AGENT

Tabitha trained as a director and worked professionally as a producer prior to becoming an agent. She is passionate about promoting actors from a diverse range of backgrounds and believes that talent management is about creating a partnership between actor and agent. In her spare time you can find Tabitha at the cinema, and binge-watching Netflix with her pals Ben & Jerry.

Jennifer Bailey

AGENT

Jen heads up the Dance department at SHA, and also looks after a specialist list of dancers working in Musical Theatre. She is passionate about versatility within the industry, and aims to work with a diverse list of dancers and choreographers, across all aspects of the business. Her talent list can frequently be spotted gracing the screens in feature films and huge advertising campaigns. Jen is always on the look out for new, exciting talent to champion.

Lucy Langham

AGENT

After a successful performing career within musical theatre spanning 12 years, Lucy found the transition to talent management very natural, thanks to her persistence, passion, and good old Yorkshire grit for the industry. Working by the ethos of being ‘always excited’ by her clients, Lucy represents a diverse list of individual musical theatre talent and triple threats, and aims to champion and promote their unique differences. Having been on the other side of the table, Lucy knows all too well how important the support and partnership of a good agent really is, and continuously invests her time and resources to help her talent reach their full potential and in turn their career goals.

Hayley Hills

AGENT

Hayley has worked professionally both as a dancer and choreographer prior to becoming an agent. During her time as head booker at one of the country’s leading agencies, she has represented some of the most successful creatives and choreographers the industry has to offer. Hayley is very passionate about all aspects of the industry, from musical theatre to contemporary and commercial dance. She believes in building a good relationship with each of her clients and aims to guide, advise and promote her talent in every way she can.

Lou Davidson

AGENT

Lou worked as an actor for 20 years in TV and Musical Theatre; following this she worked in casting before moving into agenting. Lou worked with TMG and M&G Kids before establishing her own theatrical agency which eventually merged with Galloways. Lou joined Simon and How in 2019 and represents a diverse list of actors in Film, TV, Theatre and Musical Theatre.

Yas Redjeb

Assistant

Graduating from Middlesex University with a BA Dance Studies (Choreography) award in 2015, Yas has danced alongside artists such as One Direction and James Blunt. She has also had television appearances for BBC, ITV and Channel 4 throughout her career. Before joining Simon & How Associates, Yas also shared her passion for dance within schools and local communities in and around London teaching dance to all ages and abilities. In her spare time you can find her on the sofa with her dog watching as many episodes of Friends as she possibly can!

Kit Edwards

Assistant

Upon graduating The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in 2017, Kit started an internship at Jane Lehrer Associates before becoming the agency’s permanent assistant. In September 2018 he joined Simon & How where he now assists five agents working in film, TV, theatre, commercials and musical theatre. He has a passion for screen and stage and champions talent from all walks of life. He’s also Northern Irish which makes words like ‘now’, ‘owl’ and 'Moorgate Station’ much more interesting when he says them.
